To prevent this adversity here is the checklist of essentials you “Must Have” in your gym’s duffel bag. Moreover, Some items such as towels and locks are provided by gyms in their subscription.
1. Water Bottle
Hydration yourself is important, not only for your workout but also for your overall health. No-one likes waiting at the water fountain after a sweaty workout session. A simple water bottle in your duffel bag makes it easier for you to hydrate yourself. It is recommended to use a reusable water bottle, it is environment friendly as well as it ‘ll keep your water colder for a long time.

Shoes sound like an obvious item to pack. But important is to pick the right type of shoes you’ll need for a workout. For example, you won’t need big bulky running shoes for your spinning class. Although there are many all-rounder workout shoes available in the market but still, it is great to pack the right shoes as per your activity.
Music inspires people to do their best and to get into the zone. If you are also one of them then it is the most important gym accessory and forgetting this will ruin your day. If you take a shower at the gym and they don’t provide shampoo then You can pack your shampoo in your duffel too. Dry shampoo is better if you don’t want to take a shower. It’ll soak oil and add texture and volume to your hair roots.
6. A compact umbrella
No one wants to get caught by rain returning from the gym. If you live in an area where rain is common then you should consider buying a compact umbrella to pack with your other accessories.
7. Snack bars
An energy bar as a pre-workout or post-workout snack is ideal to recover your energy levels. It is recommended to take a high carb Bar as pre-workout to fuel you up and a high protein bar as post-workout to feed the muscle.

So to avoid this scenario check your phone battery before leaving your home and if you don’t have enough battery then pack up a portable charger to your gym duffel bag.
9. A lock
Most gyms have lockers and locks to save your belongings but still, some of the gyms require you to buy a lock so if your gym is one of them then don’t forget to pick up a lock within your duffel bag. Keep in mind that you should buy a lock not too big. Because big lock may not fit catches but too small will be easily broken, so buy a balance between these two.
